Our Vision

The following scriptures help to shape the Vision of Oak Grove UM Church.

It is the Vision of Oak Grove that through our many ministries we will proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible so that they might believe in what God has done through Jesus Christ. To those who believe it is our intension to help them transform their lives to become like Christ. Through our preaching and teaching ministries as well as our many opportunities to serve, our people grow in their faith and learn to share it with others. We call this discipling.

All of our ministries have this purpose in mind and exist to meet the physical and spiritual needs of those we minister too. Our community is transformed as each of us grows in our faith, one person at a time and reaches out to others. Our vision is to be like Christ.
